How do you demonstrate your passion for dentistry?

I feel like I have not portrayed my passion for dentistry in my interviews. I am passionate about the profession and I feel like I am well informed, but I'm the type of person that is calm/easy going, so it's very unnatural for me demonstrate this. Any suggestions or do I need another personality?

Talk about your experiences that you have had with dentistry and what you felt during those experiences. For example, I shadowed dental clinics in underprivilaged areas so I talked about the desire I had to reach out to these people and better their dental health.

I agree. Try to get involved with some volunteer work. I am also laid back, but you will find that you will probably really enjoy the experience. Then, when you talk about it ( or write it), that passion will come out naturally. GL!

You could always just say, "I am very passionate about Dentistry" and even elaborate if you like; "...because..."

I spoke with a few students right before my interview and they told me he was really about "passion" so i made sure to use that word every chance I got.. It worked....
