how do you guys finance your residency

Medical residency pays the trainees for their commitment. Why do we have to pay such high tuition! After dental school, if I would like to be a faculty member, how am I supposed to pay for the expensive residency trainings... How do you guys do it?

Some dental residencies receive GME (graduate medical education) funding as well. OMFS does, GPRs do, as do AEGD and pedo residencies (if they have a hosptial component).

For those that don't receive funding and have to pay tuition--I suppose you view it as a continued investment in your future earning power.
