I go to the library, and try to sit in front of a studious person. haha
I also like to watch commencement speeches on youtube.

What about you all?

Me: I go for a run. A refreshing run. A nice scenery also helps. Then I study for hours on end.:)

I look at photos of white coat ceremonies. For those that don't know, it is the ceremony at the beginning of medical school during which newly-admitted students are awarded their student doctor white coats.

Here's a gallery from this year's freshman class at Vanderbilt. White coat ceremony: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vusm/sets/72157635050712705/

I set up a study system for myself so I don't get behind (or at least very little). That helps my motivation by making sure I'm getting things done. Prevents me from feeling too overwhelmed, which is usually what makes my motivation plummet.

WCC are for the families, not for the students. It's pretty boring as a student unless a family member is cloaking you (only allowed usually if they are a grad of the same school or work at an affiliated hospital).

To me, I think "Hm, knowing this material has a realistic chance of affecting my future career and/or career opportunities." I do also enjoy it.

Boring but yeah.
