Do you have to take the LSAT as well as the MCAT? The LSAT just looks like the verbal section of the MCAT, except for the logical reasoning sections. Do students take both exams?

In the 2002-2003 MSAR, pages 16,17,18, Table 1B, there is a rundown on all combined degree programs other than MD/PhD. MD/JD programs are included.

Another way to earn both degrees is to go, seriatum, to law school and medical school.
Law schools are 3 years (full time) and rarely have specific admission requirements other than a college degree and the LSAT.
Because medical schools have many specific admission requirements and the progression from 1st year med student to licensed physician usually takes a minimum of 7 years, if you go this route it might be wiser to go to law school first, take the premed requirements in a postbac program and then apply to medical school. It has been done before and in either order.
