I'm really lost on a lot of these.

I'll go first:

van der mom i think is self-explanatory

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always assumed your username was a take off of the famous architect, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe?

Anyway, mine is intended as "Luke."

I'd still go with tih-nay-shus. Maybe it's a Missouri thing.

Are you originally from Missouri?

Because, really, all the cool people are born here.

Haemulon: some debate about this. But the technically correct way to pronounce it is "Heem-you-lawn" (Latin, go figure). Some say "Haim-you-lawn", and thats ok. I like it with the long E though.

JAHN-ee WON eye

And for the person curoius about the origin, it was a nickname my grandpa gave me when I was very young because i seem to squint with one eye in the sun, even if it's barely sunny outside at all. It's not something dirty (as many have implied before...)

too-bee a doctor, hence I became known as tubee back in the early days. *sigh* ahh, the good ol' days. :p

Oh, and I'm a girl. :D

Nope, born in England, raised in TX. But I do like how Missourians have to "show me." And that y'all say, "draw me a pitcha."

Dr. D has this problem where the truth is impulsively spewed out. You can't blame Durden for admitting the true origin of all cool people.
