Does anyone know how things work over at AMCAS when they say they'll begin sending out the primaries on the 21st? Does this mean that all the primaries that have been verified before the 21st get sent out on that day, with primaries verified after the 21st stacked together and sent out all at once on another day (say the 28th)? Or do primaries verified after the 21st get sent out as they come in on a rolling basis? The former makes getting verified before the 21st a pretty big deal, while the latter makes getting verified a few days after the 21st not too big of a deal. Anyways, thanks in advance for any info!

I think everything is done electronically, schools will get them instantly. So it wont go out in batches, except the primaries verified before the 21st.

All primaries verified by the 21st will be made available to schools, like viciouz said.

Keep in mind, however, that schools generally begin reviewing apps in early July so the digital stack of verified apps from the 21st will be joined by verified apps that trickle in between the 21st and early July.

it means that there is no point to have your app verified before 21st because school can only get them after that date.

True, but not completely true....

"All primaries will be made available to schools on June 21st."

That's better. It doesn't matter whether it's verified or not...all schools will have access to it, and most will begin the secondary process regardless of verification status.

Again, this is only partially true. While the 21st is a virtually meaningless date to everyone who's not checking their email every 5 minutes looking for secondary invitations, it still is of benefit to have your application verified ASAP. You will get secondary invites without verification, but you will not be considered "complete" (and thus eligible for interviews) until verification (at most schools). Also, getting verified in the first few weeks may take from 1 day to a week; the longer you wait the longer it will take to get verified (last cycle it was pretty much 6 full weeks to verification when I submitted in July).
