If you have many letters of recommendation, including some from M.D.'s, do you absolutely still need a letter from a D.O.? Which schools absolutely require it and which schools don't care?

A letter from a D.O. will probably look favorably at any D.O. school, especially if it is from an alum.

The websites fort he schools or the secondary applications will tell you whether it is required for one school or another.
