hey guys,
i am considering 2 programs. one a community hosp with uni afflilation and the other a uni based hospital. both have good fellowship placement in cardiology. do you think the label of being a university based program is very important or do you think fellowship directors sort of look past the label and more at the general reputation of the program? your thoughts would be appreciated. thank you.

if you are interested in fellowship, it is usually better to stick with the university programs. easier to get involved with research, meet the right people, etc. not always true, but generally the case.
