Lets say I took a class and got a 1.0, and then retook it and got a 4.0, does PharmCAS show both grades and indicates that I retook the class and got a 4.0, or does it just show 1 GPA average of the two and just shows a 2.5?

it will always be an average of both.
So it doesn't indicated that I took a class twice? What if I took a class once and got a 1.0 and then got a 2.9.. the average is below a 2.0. What then?

The gpa is averaged, but all classes are reported and viewed by the schools. The repeat courses are tagged and thus easier for schools to identify.

How is it tagged? Like does it have a * next to it or something?
