I really want to go to school in the Chicago area but it sucks that UIC doesn't accept out of state for their DDS program, and I don't want to do a DDS/PHD. So I ask, how is Midwestern as a school? Let's say if I got into schools like Minnesota, Marquette, or Iowa, are they a lot better than Midwestern? I really want to live in the Chicago area but I wouldn't want to sacrifice a superior education either because I could just move to the Chicago area to work.

I think once you are finished, your education will be the same no matter where you went to school. Midwestern-Ill has a new program so everything is basically brand new. I like new!

That's what I was thinking as well, though there may be more kinks to work out too in newer programs, plus that tuition 😱
But I really have wanted to live in the Naperville/Aurora suburbs area for a long time due to having family there and loving the ability to go to downtown whenever, so that may be worth the tuition...

well they've been going for a few years now. They'll have their first graduating class in 2015

It would be the PERFECT area, a nice developed suburb area in chi town. Plus I can talk so much trash to the Bears fans (Go Pack).

Isn't it easier to get into than minn, marq, and iowa as well?
