Hello all,

I received a 38P (14 physics, 13 bio, 11 verbal) on my August MCAT.

I have a 3.3 overall
3.14 bcpm
4.0 in my current Master's in Medical Science.

I am very happy about my MCAT score but am concerned that my timing (just sent out all secondaries in the past two weeks) and undergraduate GPA will hold me back. I know I should have turned turned the secondaries in earlier, but what do you guys think about my chances?

Thanks

which grad program are you at?

Not bad chances, not bad at all, but not as good as they would have been had you waited till next cycle and applied early.

Based on what my girlfriend went through last year (applying while at Georgetown's grad program. She eventually got into a top tier school)...

I think that b/c you are in a grad program, schools may hold off on your application anyway to see as many new grades as possible. Just hang in there for a while and if you don't hear anything for a month or so send updates with any recent grades.

I am in my second graduate year at Wayne State University. It's a interesting program, basically first year med courses and some second year ex. systemic pathology.
