I know, I know... It is set in stone that the earlier the better to submit your application. Unfortunately I need the GPA boost that I got with summer school this year and so I wasn't able to submit until August 9th.

So my question is; is that too late? I sure hope not.

Oh yeah:

cGPA: 3.33
sGPA: 3.65

MCAT: 38Q

it's not ideal, but it's not the end of the world, either.

you'd better have all your secondaries pre-written for when they start to come in. 1-2 day turn-arounds.

You will hear many opinions on this matter from this board. From what I understand the general consensus is that for MD schools:

Early = File complete in June/July
On Time = File complete in August and a bit of September
Late = File complete in October

Of course this all depends on many factors, such as stats and in state preference. I just got invited to some interviews this week and the first available dates are in December. Very competitive candidates can sometimes squeeze in, but to be honest, even with that MCAT score, your GPA is a bit low to be successful when late. My advice is that, since you already submitted:

1. Hope that your primary goes through quickly.
2. Do what gravitywave recommends. All secondaries for this year are posted.
3. Apply to a boatload of schools.

Good luck to you, I was in a very similar situation before.
