How long did it take you to do DIT? 2 weeks or 3 weeks? Do all DIT (2011-12-13-14) courses take the same amount of time? I want to know how much time I'm going to need. Thanks

Have you tried it out for a little bit to see if it's for you?
I initially tried to do the 2 week program but thought it was a waste of time and abandoned it a couple days later.
Just stick to FA, Pathoma and Uworld, it will save you tons of time and money.

It took me about 2 weeks. I did not like it at first. But, once I did them at 1.5X speed and really listened and took notes I started to like it better. Some of it is corny but I thought it was a good review and I needed that. IF you are near the top of your class and start near a 230 then it is not really that helpful for you. It is made for us that did not get it all the first time and need a review. So if your first test is around a 180 then it will help more.

Lastly, I found it definitely helped me connect dots faster and remember things. Also, it helps me get through FA faster and easier. I remember them talking about it and going over like I do in class. It is how I do class so it works for me. I listen to lectures and then do the powerpoints.

Depends on how well you're familiar with FA. the later versions are longer but maybe by an hr max. Essentially, it's all the same. if you're going to do DIT make sure that you set a schedule and you're not just doing videos all day long. DIT alone won't get you anywhere.

For ex. I'll do 2 hours of DIT and get how many ever videos i can get done in that time. i'll do it at 1.5x speed. occasionally i'll stop to jot things down that are not in FA. and do the quizzes. Then do 2-blocks of 46q's of uworld and read/take notes which usually takes like 4 hours. Then i'll listen to my boy Sattar tell me how "examiners like to go after this" for 2 hrs and end the day with 1 hour of DIT. then pass out.

key thing is don't put all your eggs in the DIT basket because you want to get through the whole program in w/e time. Your most valuable sources should be Uw FA and pathoma. I think if you want to complete dit and also have time to do blocks and some pathoma then a month should be ample time for all that but then again that's just a guess and everyone has different study habits you might need less or more. good luck.

I have almost similar schedule as you. I start with reviewing few subjects/UW wrong questions and then 2 blocks of 46 questions.
After I'm done with this schedule in 2 weeks, I was thinking I should do DIT half day and Rx questions half day and keep reviewing (UW/FA subjects & squeeze in Pathoma) for 2 weeks. That way I'll be done with 3rd review of FA/2nd review of Pathoma/UW and take an NBME in late July. So, in 4-5 weeks from now I will be ready to take another NBME.

If you are doing DIT for 2 hours how long will it take you to get done? Are you planning to take an NBME right after it?
