How long do you wait until you contact the schools?

Hi all,

I have already paid my secondary fee and submitted my letters of recommendation, but how long does it take, on average, for the file to be marked as complete? I'm just wondering if there's an off chance that my letters are lost in mail... When will you start really worrying about it and contact the school?
