How long did it take your applications to get verified. They finally recieved all my transcripts as of yesterday, (had to send one twice, since it never seemed to arrive there). Also, ive gotten secondary applications from both dartmouth and columbia, do they really start sending secondaries out to people both their amcas is ready and how do they even know i applied there.

when you designate schools on your AMCAS app, they are notified of your designations before your app is officially verified. however, they don't receive any of your stats/essays/etc until the app is verified and transmitted to the schools. some schools that don't screen before the secondary application choose to send you the app before you get verified (which, in my opinion, is really good of them). i got one from gw this way too.
about verification, it sounds like it's taking about 10 days to two weeks around this time. in my opinion, it's still pretty early in the process. best of luck.

I'm in the same boat as you. I had to resend my transcripts several times. I got University of Chicago 's secondary already, so if that is also a school you're applying to, you should get an invite to fill out a secondary pretty soon. Gluck!

My transcripts and everything were in 7/8, I think it was verified 7/18. I guess 10 days does sound about right.
