How long until Step 1 scores are reported? (Your personal experience welcome)

I know people say about 3 weeks from the first Wednesday after or something. Is that about right?

I would also like to hear from your experience so maybe I can get an idea of the range. Am just trying to get a good schedule down.

If you just took it, the NBME website says that starting from mid-May, scores won't be available until July 10 at the earliest

Whoa uh... I actually didn't take it yet, I was asking for scheduling a future exam (in July), how long would I need to wait.

Didn't know about that whole mid-May thing, is that just a special case (maybe no rotations start during that time period anyway?).... THat kind of screws those people up, no? =/

some schools (i know caribbean ones at least) require you to pass step 1 before you start rotations

only island schools require that. no one else in the world does.
