how long was everyone's personal statement, im finishing mine right now and its going to be like ~ 4000 characters, not sure if i should actually try and make it up to the limit.

I don't think you need to do that. Mine (from last year) was right at the limit, but I know other people's were quite short. If you like it the way it is, don't sweat the length.
