I'm starting my fourth year of pre-med, and was curious how many letters of rec I should send in. I have several professors who could write good letters, and many many doctors that I have worked with who would probably write for me. I have a few other questions on the matter as well.
1) Would an ADCOM look more favorably on a letter from an alum of that school?
2) Would a letter from a FNP-C or RN be appropriate? I've worked with several who have offered.
3) Does a letter from a practitioner of the field(s) I'm interested in (and have worked with) look better?
Happily, I've been shadowing and volunteering at my hospital since I was in high school, and know a lot of docs who could help me out. But how many is too many? Thanks for your help!!
