How many schools should I apply to? How competitive of an applicant am I?

Hi, I am curious to how many schools I should apply to and how competitive of an applicant I am? Which aspects will hurt/strengthen my application?
Stats/info:
-3.78 overall gpa
-Haven’t taken DAT yet
-withdrew from university for semester for medical reasons
-dropped a class because I didn’t want to get a C
-ended up becoming a teaching assistant for that dropped class later
-have gone on dental trips abroad to volunteer in developing countries
-other volunteer activities: camp counselor, English tutor to Chinese speakers at church, hospital volunteer
-not much research, but a little
- B’s in most chemistry/ochem/Biochem classes
-A’s in almost all other science classes
Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Post again using this format (► READ BEFORE YOU POST: Formatting your Thread ◄) after you've taken your DAT.
After briefly skimming your list, I don't see any shadowing hours so make sure you have at least 100.... And I don't know how many volunteer hours you have but 100 is a good number to shoot for there as well.

Honestly though, a lot of your competitiveness and the schools you should apply to will come from what you score on your DAT, so post when you have your scores.
