How many schools to apply to?

I am currently filling out my application for pharm school and I was wondering how many schools ppl are applying to?

I am from FL, but I am applying to UCSF, USC, UWashington and UNC.
I am thinking about applying to these 4 schools and it's already over $300!

Unless you are particularly confident about what you bring to the table you should probably apply to roughly 3 to 5 more schools that you most likely are a strong candidate for. Probably just add some safety net schools because those 4 schools can be particularly competitive in the application process.
