Hey, I'm sure many of you are toiling away on these wicked secondaries and I saw a similar thread that's been dead for a year, so I thought I'd revive the topic.

1) How many schools did you apply to on your primary application?

2) How many secondary applications have you received?

3) How many secondary applications have you completed?

4) How many secondary applications do you intend to complete?

I'll start.

1) 25
2) 23 (missing Howard and Loyola)
3) 7
4) 20

Good for you, TheBigCat! I'm sure by #13 or 14, I'm going to start losing steam.

1. Applied to 24
2. Received 23 secondaries (Waiting on Emory)
3. Completed 19 secondaries
4. Intend on completing 23 secondaries

Holy crap, you finished 38 secondaries?!? Geez...

1) 37
2) 35...rejection from IU and waiting for Drexel
3) 35
4) 36

1) 24

2) 20 (no Vandy, Emory, Hopkins, Mayo)

3) 17 (need to do NYU, mail in my cheque for AECOM, and my transcript for Albany).

4) 23 (not Mayo's, as it doesn't exist; Vandy's if they invite me)

Wow, looks like I'm a little behind the 8-ball here , but in my defense, I only started last week since I took the 8/7 MCAT.

4.) 14 (dont think I'm gonna do Duke's, so I'm done -- and it feels fabulous)

1) How many schools did you apply to on your primary application?

67... umm I actually did not know I applied to this many... I kind of lost count...

2) How many secondary applications have you received?

56

3) How many secondary applications have you completed?

33ish 34 if Mayo's LORS count

4) How many secondary applications do you intend to complete?

45ish I think, plus 4 TX schools do not have secondaries

1) 12 (apparently not very many schools...?)
2) 11 (no Emory yet)
3) 7
4) 12

1. 14
2. 10
3. 10
4. All that I get. Assuming I'm not screened out.

Holy crap. Isn't that like more than half the US MD schools?!

1) How many schools did you apply to on your primary application?
18
2) How many secondary applications have you received?
17 (No news from Mayo yet)
3) How many secondary applications have you completed?
14
4) How many secondary applications do you intend to complete?
16 (Don't really intend on going to two from my list)

I'm losing steam on the last two; especially because... well, they're the last two remaining apps for a reason :p

1) 22
2) 20 (waiting on Emory, didn't receive Rush)
3) 19 (completed Rush anyway; sitting on Stony Brook, Loyola)
4) 22

1. 19
2. 16 (Mayo doesn't have one, Emory is tardy, and UCSF is going to reject me)
3. 15. (I hate Duke)
4. 17 (Unless UCSF by some miracle doesn't reject me, then I'll do 18)

1.) 25 (AMCAS: 19; TMDSAS: 4)
2.) 19 (AMCAS: UWashington and UCSF; Out of state, have lost all hope. TMDSAS: 3/4 schools do not not require secondaries. Finished the one that does.)
3.) 17
4.)19 If I here something from UW and UCSF. Doubt it, though. It's not like they're short of applicants.

1 screened rejection, 2 probably won't get done (strong instate preference)
Hopefully 33 if all the other schools don't screen me out.

1. 30
2. 16 or 17, not sure
3. 6...YIKES. I'm also working 55-60 hours per week. hooray.
4. 30. if I get them all. I haven't gotten any rejections yet at least!

corrigendum: 1.) should be 23...****...

Time to revive this thread. I finished my final secondary (Stony Brook) this afternoon. Whoohoo! Now my angst gets to build until September 9th when they release the MCAT scores =/

1) 14
2) 13 (still waiting for Wake forest to review my 2nd MCAT... anyday now..)
3) 8 (Wayne, UofM, MSU, UIC, University of Toledo, Dartmouth, Hopkins, SUNY buffalo, my 3 top choices are done anyways...)
4) 12 (NOT doing arkansas, my dad made me apply there, but i wont get in so its a waste, and Kentucky has a rediculous OOS essay that I just dont feel like doing for a school that I probably won't be accepted at anyways)

planning on finishing Rush, Loyola and Rosalind Franklin this weekend to be submitted. And assuming Wake Forest sends one that will be out as soon as its in, questions are already done.

cannot wait until secondaries are over...

Bring on the interviews please...

This thread is oh-so-motivational. BACK TO THE ESSAY MILL!:luck:

4) How many secondary applications do you intend to complete?
49 so, basically ALL of them except the ones i get rejected pre-sec and duke.

I only did 20 and I felt like they took forever, so I can't even imagine what it's like for you guys who are doing 30+. It must be costing you a fortune as well =/

I am completely jealous of those of you that are completely done with secondaries.... just a couple more to go...
