Medical How many semesters of physics do I need?

Hello!

I am currently a third year pre-med student and I have heard some conflicting things about physics. I am open to DO and MD, I do have a preference for DO, but I have not started any applications yet (I am planning on getting my masters first). I am taking physics one now, how important is it to have 2 semesters? Is this something I should stress to get into my schedule?

You need one full year of physics with a lab.

It is prerequisite for both MD and DO medical schools to complete a full year of physics for consideration for application.
