I ve heard that since DO schools often emphasize primary care, that many of them require extra weeks of rotations in FP during the 3rd and 4th years, which cuts down on elective weeks. Since I am not interested in doing FP (interested in IM or surg.) this is kinda a negative aspect of DO schools for me.

How many weeks of FP are required by your school? Please list your school also, thanks.
