How much harder are the Princeton Diagnostics (4911, 4921, etc.) than AAMC?

If I can get like a 27-29 on the Princeton diagnostics, is that at the same level of difficulty as the AAMC tests? Or am I a little bit better than the scores that I am getting with Princeton? I have heard that the Princeton tests are quite a bit harder, but I am not sure if this is true. People say that my AAMC test will be a couple points higher....If people can give their advice by maybe telling their Princeton scores and their aamc or real test scores it would help me greatly. Thanks!

I think the TPR's diags were easier than the real deal. I was scoring pretty high on the diags, but didnt do as well on the real test 🙁

To me, they seem about the same. I found all the practice tests to be about equally hard. I don't think they make the first diag super hard to scare you or anything.

It seemed to me that the second diag covered a large amount of the material taught during the time between the first and second so that a decent raise in your score would occur. TPR diags are a little harder than the real thing. When you take aamc practice tests 5 and 6 you should get a better feel for your score.

For my last TPR diag I had a score of about a 27 or 28, 5r i had 31, 6r 28 (I was sick as a dog, dripping nose, congestion, headache). My real mcat score is 34 (but I felt like I was lucky to get passages I was familiar with).

I think the TRP diags are written just a bit harder/more confusing than the AAMC practice tests. So I think you'd get a few points on the real thing, but just a few.

As far as test scores and diags:

MCAT 4/94 12V/10P/9B N
MCAT 4/95 11V/11P/10B P
out of school in the military for about 8 years
4911 2/04 10V/7P/9B
4921 3/04 12V/9P/10B
4931 3/04 11V/9P/11B
5R 4/04 12V/11P/11B
6R 4/04 13V/13P/11B
MCAT 4/04 13V/11P/12B Q

I've racked up a distressing amount of experience with the MCAT 😳
