how much money do you need from your family?

Hi, I am a 2007 applicant, but planning my budget for next year (hopefully). My family been having problem financially.

I just wondering if any current medical student can share how much money they usually need for the medical school. (5k, 10k)??

It really depends on the specifics of your families financial situation. There is no way to estimate it without specific numbers. Worry about getting in, then contact the financial aid office at the school you are interested in going to. They will take care of you.

I wouldn't worry about it- I had the same situation and mediocre credit and I had no problem; anyway most people I know don't get much help from their families. Most of us just take out lots of loans...

Agree. You can always borrow what you need. But obviously if they are offering interest free funds, that helps.
