Columbia gives you about 6-7 weeks, but I think some ppl use some of that time for vacation time before 3rd yr. So, probably more like 5.

We end all new material March 18th. There here is the schedule:
one week spring break
7 weeks integrated cases (class 12 hours a week. The classes are about 60-70% board review and 30-40% preparing you for third year. You have to put in 2 hours a week in presentations for the class)
2 weeks to study for the year end test (which is friday of second week)
6 weeks until you start third year.

9 total free weeks and 7 half weeks.

Agreed. Most pre-meds are not worried about studying for Step 1 quite yet, and most PRE-meds are not in med school (hance the PRE part), therefore we don't have a school that would give us time to study for Step 1 :D

Try the Allopathic forum ;)

I know UCSD gives less than a month, and Michigan gives over a month.

UCSD gives circa 13 days.

UCI gives 2 months.
