How often do they take exams at Columbia during D1 and D2??

How often do they take exams at Columbia during D1 and D2?? And How long are they usually?
Are they mostly essay types or multiple choice?
I am horrible at writing and have a difficult time even starting a sentence. I do much better at multiple choice exams.

Also do they take the same exams as the med students?

Almost all our tests are multiple choice and very few fill in the blank questions (some operative dentistry quizzes and oral histology practical questions). For the classes we have with med students, it is mostly the same exam but we have our own grading average curve etc.

In D1 exams are about every 2 months i'd say...we have blocks where we take a couple exams in a week or two. D2 is more often. They usually last about 2-3 hours.
