How Old is Too Old for Dental Decks to use?

Hi everyone- Im planning to take my NBDE Part 1 this summer and am beginning to get my study materials in order. I have a few people who want to sell me their old Dental Decks but they are from 2005/2006. I wanted to get them because their cheap and many people say they are the same, except for the format, color etc. Some of my questions are:

1. Has anyone taken the boards recently and used older Decks and still did well on their exam?
2. What year/range of decks is considered too old to use?

spend the 300 and get the new set it has much more info, i mean 50% is the same word for word from the old ones including the pics, but they added new stuff.
