how "screwed" would you say i am?

i am a sophomore in undergrad now and the last 2 semesters i got a C+ and C in Biology. how much bad shape would you say i'm in already? im HOPING my grades get better from here on. I already seem to be doing better in Chem, but these are suppose to be my easiest courses...

Doesn't that really depend on why you got a C? Did you get a C because you screwed around your first year away from home (presumably) and didn't really study? Did you attend class religiously and retranscribe notes (or other study habits)? Or did you simply not get the material?

If you are really worried, take summer courses, to replace the grades. If you got the material and just messed around in class, then own up and move on. 😉

it was a mixture of both cause most times i didnt get the material and i kind of have bad study habits (i dont "play around" im just a bad procrastinator most of the time, cause im not a party person at all). and also i would freeze when i would get my tests. i always attended class and took the proper notes

i think im doing better in chem because i love to do math and the concepts are easier for me grasp


i'll just have to see how i do in the future, cause i know General Bio and Chem are crucial, and i mostly get Bs, ive mostly only gotten As in my math courses. i tend to worry a lot, and im just worrying ive already screwed myself considering i mostly get Bs.

Don't worry too much about these classes being easier than your future classes. I've found that as the classes get harder, your study habits will get better and better. So the fact that the classes get more difficult won't hurt you much. Just keep trying to work harder and you'll do fine!
