Medical How should I classify humanities courses in AMCAS application?

Hello! I go to a liberal arts university and we have humanities courses that are registered as HUM on our transcript. Unfortunately AMCAS does not have a "HUM/Humanities" classification in their "course work" section. I was wondering if it should go under philosophy? Our humanities is complex and can be classified as english/literature, history and philosophy.

I would simply classify them under whatever category fits best. If the primary content is philosophy, choose that. If the primary content is English and writing, choose English/literature. Lather, rinse, repeat. You will not be penalized if the fit isn't exact.

I had the same issues when I was applying and had to stretch some more than you will have to. No questions were asked. Just do your best to classify them and all should be good.
