how to apply for the pre-residency research fellowship position

Hi everyone

I am an IMG & I am Interested in taking a pre-residency research fellowship in Ophth.
any ideas how to find/search out such spots?
I wonder how competitive it is for an IMG to get in?

Pre-residency fellowship positions are not abundant, but I've seen students complete one at U of Utah, U of Iowa, Miami, USC, and UCLA. You contact the people you're interested in working with. There's no match for pre-residency fellowships. Check this site for immediate openings; otherwise, inquire with specific mentors directly:
