For example: english 74, math-78 etc.
What do i do? If i equivilate them to letter grades. I end up losing on the overall marks. please does anyone know

My school formulates GPA like this:

Letter grade and GPA:

F = 0.00 (60 and below)
D- = 0.70 (60-63)
D = 1.00 (64-66)
D+ = 1.30 (67-69)
C- = 1.70 (70-73)
C = 2.00 (74-76)
C+ = 2.30 (77-79)
B- = 2.70 (80-83)
B = 3.00 (84-86)
B+ = 3.30 (87-89)
A- = 3.70 (90-93)
A = 4.00 (94-96)
A+ = 4.00 (97-100)

Find the numerical grade you get and assign it the appropriate letter grade.

Take the number of credits and multiply it by the quality points assigned to it.
Then, add all the quality points up and divide by total number of classes.

EXAMPLE:
2 B's and 2 A's would result in the following grades (assume 3 credits each)

3.0 x 3 = 9
3.0 x 3 = 9
4.0 x 3 = 12
4.0 x 3 = 12
==============
12 42

Your GPA: 42/12 = 3.5

Best of luck to you!
