hi,I want to do an parttime dental assistant . but I do not have any licience.

the question is whether I should have the licience of dental assistant for the part time DA job?

yes you do need to be a registered dental assistant, to work part-time or full-time in any office. I'm taking an online course for dental assisting since the start of summer and i'm almost finished with it.

As far as I know you DO NOT need a license in most states to work as a dental assistant, you may need some extra course work to be allowed to take x-rays.

I think new york does need licensure for DA but I am not sure abt NJ though. Chk abt jersey and if it not too far from where u live try out jersey.hope this helps.
