How to evaluate malpractice coverage

Looking for a new job
So far have worked in FQHCs so malpractice was not an issue, but if looking for positions that are hospital based and private practice how do I know that they are offering me good malpractice coverage ?
What particular questions should I ask ?
How do I find that the malpractice carrier has a good standing ?

This was something I never really worried about beyond making sure the limits were high enough - 1/3 million is the usual set up.

^ is it worth investigating ?
Thats my big issue, some practices make you pay part of the tail coverage if contracted is terminated early and some lawyers do not settle and physician's assets are up for grabs
