So I had a younger sibling pass away. I talked about that in my PS.

I have volunteered extensively with kids at childrens home and hospice.

Is there a certain way to connect these activities together when writing my experience section?

( I used these three experiences to write a very good PS, just wondering if I need to do anything else to have a theme per say)

Tell a story through your activities. Maybe in your descriptions you could talk about how your work in one place inspired your work at another place when discussing motivations?

Well if you used the 3 experiences to write a very good PS, then the only other thing left is what you can't change...your activities thus far. If you aren't applying this cycle, then you can try to get involved with different aspects related to how your sibling passed away and/or how to cope with that event. Sorry about your sibling.

I am applying in the next 2 days. My extracurriculars are set at this point but I was just wondering if there were ways to word them in a cohesive manner.

And will do. This gap year, I plan to volunteer at an elementary school as a tutor and keep up hospice volunteering.

Thanks for your condolences. Really appreciate it

Well, depending on your scenario, i could see someone saying the death of my sibling led me to feel XXX and then i was determined to prevent this so I did XXXX and I also wanted to continue having interactions with younger ppl so i did XXXX that involved children and also volunteered at XXXX for unfortunate children etc. And eventually I wanted to be a pediatrician blah blah? I'm not sure what the exact cause of your sibling's passing was but if it was some disease you could even do research on the disease etc.

@Astra118 Have you checked the Page Layout tab? There should be a Themes group where you can choose the document theme that you want to use. If it's not listed, you can use the internet in order to browse for themes if they aren't to your liking.

lol wtf? thinking you totally missed point of op's question..

1) Younger sibling passes away

2) Extensive volunteering with children

If you can't see a theme there, look at it again.

Then tie in your other activities with how it lines up with this theme.
