Simple question, but having some difficulty finding answers.

As the title states what is the best way to learn about osteopathic medicine? Specifically, I am looking for online resources and literature before I make the decision to shadow an osteopathic physician.

Thanks! :)

Could I also get a PM too please? It would be greatly appreciated!

You can read www.osteopathic.org (koolaid). ACOFP has a website that teaches OMM exam skills (to which you sign a disclosure before starting saying they are not responsible for any foul/dangerous/hurtful treatments). http://www.acofp.org/apps/omt/omt_agreement_sr.aspx
I just want to add to this, if you actually can't shadow a DO you should probably watch some to get a gist of what OMM is when you're asked at an interview. Granted, this isn't a real patient interaction and the models in the videos probably don't have super-acute or chronic dysfunction, you at least get an idea of what OMM is.
