Hi all,

Hoping that someone can help me by answering this question...might be a little on the stupid side (I apologize)

I am planning to apply to two specialties (Gen Surg and Plastic Surg). I spent a year doing research last year and wanted to use the PI's LOR for both GSurg and PSurg. So I asked the PI to write two versions of the LOR (one more specific for the respective specialty). When uploaded to ERAS, how will I be able to tell the difference and be able to designate the correct LOR to the right specialty?

Thanks to anyone who can help...

You create two LOR slots in ERAS. You give the LOR writer two coversheets, one for each slot. One specifically says "Gen Surg" on it, the other "plastics". Assuming the correct letter gets attached to the correct coversheet by his/her secretary, and assuming that your dean's office uploads it correctly, they will then be labeled in MyERAS by field.
