How To Start Studying for the MCATs

Hey everyone. I plan on taking the MCATs in April of 2012. Does anyone have some sort of study plan that takes about a year or a year and a few months to do? I just want to have a good breakdown that has worked for someone else. Let me know. PM if you have any questions.

Don't actively study for it a year in advance because it's not going to do you any good except sap time and energy that you could be using doing other things.

Why wouldn't it do one any good to better know the material?
