It appears there are a number of threads discussing acceptances and rejections for other schools....I would like this thread to be for those of us waiting to hear from Howard post-interview or those who have heard from them already.
If you have been accepted or rejected post-interview, please post so we can know what's going on.

Sure...I interviewed the week of 10/4 and have not heard anything yet (I think it is still early).

I predict....you get a call today from Ms. Walk at 4:13 PM.

Hey Gujju, I hope we both hear some good news from Howard soon. I have been checking my mailbox and email like crazy...first thing I do when I wake up at 6am is check the email as if someone would be emailing me that early.
Does Howard call to offer acceptance it's via mail or email?

Don't know for sure. Couple of MS1s told me that they had gotten calls last year. But this year a lot of things have changed so not sure.

Has anyone else heard from them?

Interviewed 9/20. Nothing yet.

I interviewed on 10/5. I sent Ms. Walk an e-mail, and she said she hopes to have letters out within the next 10 days and that the Committee had reviewed my application.

They are sending Acceptance letters....I was thinking they were going to call.

Anyways...wannagraduate, don't you wish that you could see if she was smiling or not?

May be you can call her or they are waiting for students to respond to their acceptances.

In any case, I don't think it is too late for any schools (including Howard).

I received an email last week from admissions. The email stated that the adcom was meeting to discuss my app 11/9/05 and I should hear something within 10 days. I interviewed on 10/17. My questions is what size is the envelope?

I interviewed mid-October and am still waiting...
Ms. Walk claimed that "hopefully" a letter would be mailed right after Thanksgiving but some dean was out on leave...blah blah blah. However a decision had been made. It seems like they're just sitting on the decisions. 👎 annoying!

Just to give you a sense of the turn around time, I interviewed Sept 20, and my letter was dated Nov 9th (although I actually got it a couple of weeks later).

In the beginning of the application cycle, I would say a little over 2 weeks.

I called Ms. Walk and she gave me my decision over the phone. She did tell me that people who are currently waiting like you, will receive an email about the decision. You will still get the letter in the mail. So your wait will be over pretty soon. She is a very nice calming lady.
