Does anyone have any info about Howard University? Do they only take African American students? If not, what is the ratio? Do you have any other stats on their acceptance rate (GPA, DAT, # of applicants)?

As far as application info, according to ASDA, they have a class size of 90, avg GPA of last years class was a 2.9, avg DAT was 16/15, ratio of applicants to accepted students was 8/1.

Hey Regina330. Do you know the average board scores(PartI and II) on first attempt for Howard University? If not, does anyone know where to find aveage board scores for each dental school. Thanks.

I once read some information about Horward Univ. on the board. The reason they do not require high GPA (comparing to other schools) and DAT is because they emphasize on community services. They want you to provide your evidences that you do devote yourself to the services.
It seems reasonable, and it might be their ways to select students.
