My husband got the call today!!! He's into MCO!!!

Thanks for all of the encouraging words - this was one place that people didn't simply resort to negativity. Wooohooooo!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! That is great news...I know how hard it is to do the long distance thing. I have been doing it for way too long and hopefully it will change next year.

Congrats!

Personally I'm hoping that whatever school I go to, my class is 75% single women, preferably attractive single women. No married couples allowed.

🙂

Hey, a guy can hope...

That's pretty amazing. I'm sure it'll be quite the experience to go through the med school process together
Congratulations and good luck! 🙂

Congrats!
If things work out, I look forward to running around their indoor track with you two next year (and swimming in the Marriott pool--did they inform you it was open to students?)

Congrats! I guess the two of you could have some nice study breaks next year -- how very convenient! 😀

The sauna's ours to use, too!

I know how happy you are. My bf and I will end our 2 yr long distance relationship by entering at the same school next fall. The hard work really pays off. 🙂

Does anyone know of med schools w/ the highest percentage of either females or males? In pharmacy school, it's not uncommon for the female class to be like 80%.

If I remember correctly, MCO is around 58% male and 42% female. I'm sure they're not an extreme, though.

Marshall University had 51% female for the first time 2 yrs ago. I think that is so cool.

That is really awesome. Congratulations!!

University of Alabama Birmingham (my first and only interview so far) is 61% male, 39% female.

Them's not good odds, especially for a woofer like me.
🙂

By the way, should you be scared if you see a school where the male/female percentages don't add up to 100%?

1% other? 😉 That's DAMN scary...

I think that most schools are near 50/50. Does anybody know how many of the females on average are single? 😀
