I disagree with the answer to this question so can someone confirm/reject what I say here? Thank you.
#3: For which of the following compounds will hydrogen bonding among its molecules be important?
I. CHCl3
II. CH3CH2OH
III. H3C-O-CH3
A. II only
B. III only
C. I and II only
D. II and III only
Obviously, II is true. But, I also thought that III is true because it can be hydrogen acceptor (as opposed to II as a donor). Now, I now read that the question said "among its molecules" so is that why the answer is A, not D?
