Is there an O-H peak in the HNMR for alcohols? or are they not coupled?

Those are two separate, unrelated questions. Yes to both, generally. There's significant protic character to a hydroxyl relative to an alkyl, so you generally see a broad, tiny, singlet (which, depending on the number of scans, may or may not show up above background noise). The ppm varies a bit between compounds.
