What would you think the chances are for a hypothetical male for a Canadian at DO

He is Asian, not non trad, would have 50 hours DO shadowing, volunteer at a hospital and have a sGPA of 3.4 and a cGPA of 3.45-3.5. Possibly an MCAT from 25-28.

What would be your conservative estimate for this type of profile applying to american osteopathic schools

What would be suggestions to increase his probability

I dont know enough about the DO schools in terms of their policy for international students. But the rest of your stats seem ok. I would try to aim for a slightly higher MCAT.

This hypothetical Canadian person would probably do fine getting into a DO med school somewhere. Higher MCAT score with balanced subscores, recent good grades, and a variety of ECs would aid the chances. Shadowing a DO physician and getting a LOR would help too.
