I created a podcast about how to start a dental practice. Any feedback or suggestions?

Hey guys,

I created a dental podcast called Start Your Dental Practice - it's about helping dentists get to the ownership level.

I interview real practicing dentists that have gone through ownership as well as some industry consultants to pick their brain on how to make a dental practice successful.

Any feedback or suggestions on interviewees is appreciated.

(If you listen to podcasts on iTunes here's the link over there)

Thanks,

I'm really big on podcast and I have been waiting for something like this to appear! Thanks! I'll subscribe now.

Jonathan, just finished the few episodes and I enjoyed listening, thank you for the link. A few suggestions from the perspective of a dental student. First, I think your intro to the episodes are waayyyy to long. They need to be 10-15 seconds instead of 3-5 minutes because I just ended up skipping the intro to get straight to the interview. Some things that I would be interested in learning are more specifics about what to look for in a good associate position (corporate vs. private practice), how to know what a good deal looks like when buying a practice, as an associate what steps to take/how to know you are ready to purchase your own practice, also would be nice if you interviewed an orthodontist (or other specialists) and asked about what challenges they faced when starting a practice that may be unique and different from general dentists. Thanks again.

You know, you aren't the first person to say that.

I appreciate all the feedback guys.

Keep them coming and I'll look for some interviewees that touch on these subjects.

And in regards to the intro, yes I'm going to redo how I do it.

MUCH better intro! Quick highlights and straight to the interview. Very good, keep up the good work!

I'm actually interviewing a great dentist today, should have some good stories on this week's episode.

Hey guys, just put out a new type of podcast.

More informative/lecture oriented than interview style. Let me know what you think.

I also interviewed 6 dental bankers about how to successfully apply for a dental practice loan and created a guide based off of the responses. You can find that here: dental practice loans
