I was surprised that I got a Q on writting. The last time I got an N. And when I saw the score, I thought that "my god, it must be lower than N." That is so out of range.

I am just totally surprised that I improved 3 levels. and the thing is that I didn't even bother practicing to write 2 full articles before the test day. And I didn't really do much writting before that, either.

so has anyone else improved that much? or was I just being qt?

ummm, what does "qt" mean? I got a Q both times. Never really looked at the percentiles for the writing section so not sure if it is a great score or what.

I assume "qt" is just the phonetic (as is a lot of internet language) for "cutie" or "cute"...

That' s a great improvement but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter unless your other scores are high. Most schools won't accept you just because of a high writing sample. My friend received an S on the W.S. but got a 25! He is getting no love from any MD schools. So be happy about your accomplishment but it doesn't mean a lot in the eyes of most med schools.

Youngprick...learn how to spell, moron! Writing has only one 't,' not two.

    What's your overall score...genius?! Mine's a 34. I bet you didn't even get above a 24.:p

because you dare not to wear speedo when u swim, that does not suggest that you are totally macho.

you succumb to the pressure of how to be a "man" in the states, that does not mean that I want to bow to the tradition.

It is just a matter of "tradition" which is forced upon you. too bad, you can't enjoy your life, you can't wear speedo or pink, you can't talk or say in certain ways just because you want to be considered as a "man".

    i feel sorry for you.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one out there with a pink speedo. If you ever worry that people don't think you're very masculine when you wear them, try butching them up by wearing them with a sailor cap. That's what I do. Although I still do get a lot of strange looks when I wear that outfit to work.

I'm sorry I got distracted by the tantalizing imagery in this post.

I went from an N in 1994 to an R in August 2002. But frankly, I think my pink speedo is more interesting.

What the hell is this idiot trying to say?

    "I got a Q for being qt"????

On another note - who give a rat's ass about the writing sample anyways?

Q for being queer is more like it. (as in both weird and homosexual)

    Youngjock,

I have a really hard time believing anything that you write on this forum. You say that you received a Q on the MCAT, yet the majority of your writings on this forum is deplorable. Your spelling and grammar is some of the worst I have ever read. Most of the time I have no idea what you are saying.

I suspect you write things strictly to stir up trouble. I feel sorry for you.

I agree, there is a bit too much rudeness in this thread.

Even if the writing sample means "nothing" (which, IMHO, is not the case) a "Q" is respectable, especially if you didn't stress about it. Congrats!

what is the big deal about someone's sexuality? by calling someone a queer, does that make you a less queer? or does that make you feel good because you think that you are "better?"

yea, you think that i have a "reason" to lie about my score on this board? what do I get from that?

why don't you tell us what you got, and then maybe we will feel sorry for what you got.

I think that you enjoy posting somewhat rude, antagonistic posts because it makes you the "center of attention" at least for a little while. I suspect that you are a borderline ( Axis II), attention seeking personality that would benefit greatly from psychotherapy.

I did not do very well on the MCAT. I never professed that I did.

It is your obvious psychological problems that I feel sorry for you about. Not your MCAT score.

Please, i did not SEEK your attention. It seems that you are the one who has been following me around.

I don't have a psychological problem, but it seems to me that you are here to stay. don't suspect anything about me, maybe you are just bored in your own life. you think that you have the ability to psychoanalyze me, maybe you can spend some time helping yourself.

    Okay dudes,
Chill out. The point of this forum is to help each other get through the MCAT and empathize with each other. Stop insulting each other as this is getting ridiculous. We don't need to compare MCAT scores, nor take jabs at each other. Leave this thread alone and focus on the application process. Good luck!
