AAMC 8 13/9/11 Today

I still have no clue on my expected verbal score. I did had a big jump from TPR5 to TPR6. However, verbal section was particularly easy on TPR6. After TPR7, I started to think that AAMC7 and TPR6 scores were fluke. Even though i did better on AAMC8 today, I still have no clue on my verbal strength.

Any thoughts? My test is on Aug 18th.

my verbal jumped around a lot too. add and average them all and that's your safest bet, but you really never know.
Just be sure you're not picking the same kind of wrong answers, the ones that sound really good because of how they're worded. Often its the answer that sounds too straight-forward that's the right one.

I think most people here use the AAMC scores to gauge where they are.
Especially the later AAMC FLs like 9~11 are thought to be more representative of the real deal, so if you finish those then you'll have a better idea.

Don't let anyone tell you that's not a good score; it may not be by SDN standards, but in the real world that's a perfectly respectable score. Aim high, of course, but don't get the impression that you have to get a 44 like, what seems like, everyone on SDN.

who, in their right mind, would say thats a bad score?
id love to meet them, not really.
but ya, like the other person said, AAMC scores are better predictors. get on those

Based on the population that actively posts on SDN, I think you'd be surprised...

AWW MAN that is such a terri score, I pulled a 44 on all of my practice tests w/o even finishing doing the BS sections. AWW MAN.

Do you have more AAMC practice test scores? Those are more representative of test performance in general.

I want to say yes to be mean, but instead i'll tell you to calm down and that TPR tests are hard; that's a good score for TPR. why are you freaking out, you got well above thirty on your AAMCs, jesus.

TPR 8 is supposed to be the hardest TPR test, and TPR 9 is the 2nd hardest. My teacher told us to only take those if we were consistantly hitting 30+ on the other TPR tests and if we had solid science scores.

you ain't seen anything hard until you take that MCAT review test FL thingy at the bottom of the TPR tests.

those are...:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown:

Here are the updates

VR/BS/PS
Yesterday AAMC 3 8/12/10
Today AAMC 4 9/13/13

I was felt confident and happy about these two recent scores.
However, I realized that these two test are the easiest test of all AAMC tests...

**** 7 DAYS LEFT AND SO ****INg nervoUS

best wishes to you guys on the upcoming test. the actual MCAT can be difficult/easier than the practice. I think by doing Full lengths, you do develop the habit of taking this long test. Hopefully all the studying pays off and you guys get that 30+ score. :)
