I just took a free practice DAT at Kaplan :(

So I signed up for a free DAT at kaplan, and took it today...I took it cold, I haven't started studying at ALL yet, so it was really a wake-up call...I didn't do too well, well considering I haven't started to study yet this summer, I don't know what I was expecing....

Anyways, it was a big wake-up call for me...especially cause I got an 18 when I took it 2 yrs ago, I have to do a lot better this time around...and lets just say, today, none of my scores were even an 18 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Don't worry seema. I remember when I took the free-DAT cold and I got like 15 across, except for PAT which was 22!!!. That was the highest PAT I ever got, now I can't seem to exceed 19 or 20. Oh well. one month to straighten my vision. Don't worry make sure you practice and practice....make sure you know why you got the answered you got right..right, and the answers you got wrong...wrong. Good luck.

Your post just makes me thankful that I'm already done with the test. As Desi said, don't use those scores to depress yourself, just use them as motivation. Was it a full-length test or a TestDrive test?

Often times, when the tests are open to the public, Kaplan will chooes nit-picky questions in order to make people sign up for the class (due to crappy scores). Just review the answers and keep studying! You'll do fine.
