I think he was kidding based on the quote of the lady in tears that has been heard repeatedly on talk radio. She tearfully states that she never thought she would see this day come. She knows that she will never have to worry about whether or not she can afford gas or her mortgage, because Obama will take care of her. Not an exact quote, but pretty close and pretty scary that people feel that disconnected to having any responsibility for taking care of themselves and their offspring. To each according to their need, from each according to their ability.
