Alright so I just calculated my BCPM just out of curiosity before I do apps....and I found out that its much lower than what my school calculates my science gpa as. BCPM is 2.5
Unfortunately I am such an idiot and I didnt realize that when you retake a course that AMCAS counts both the bad score and the new score otherwise I just would have dropped. Way to go awesome advisor (sarcasm).
I am taking my MCAT in April and I think I can get an ok score.
So lets assume that I have an ok MCAT and that I have a lot of strenghts aside from my gpa (research, volunteer, awesome recommendations, etc) and I am a minority student and I apply really early.
What do you think my chances of getting in to an allopathic school are?
